Rod Stewart started his career by busking with a harmonica and then appeared with many rock bands as lead vocalist. These days he is more known for his solo career.
He was born and raised in London of Scottish and English ancestry before becoming one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
He has sold over 100 million records world-wide, 6 consecutive number one albums in the UK and 62 hit singles including 6 which went to number 1.
On 11th October 2005 he recieved a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and in 2016 was knighted for his services to music.
