CO: WEXFORD, IRELAND
Courtown Harbour in North Wexford has been a very popular seaside resort for well over 100 years.
Originally the town started out as a famine relief project by Lord Courtown to both create a local amenity and as a source of local employment.
The town has changed very little since those early days and of course the beach even less.
When I recently visited the town I strolled down to the beach and was so struck by the lighting on the rocks that I just had to capture this image.
